Vacant Space Revival Program
This program helps breathe new life into local economies. Receive a discount on your electric bills for a full year when you take over a commercial space that’s been vacant for more than a year.
Most small to medium business customers can qualify, but you must apply before committing to a property lease or purchase. Landlords can apply on behalf of future tenants.
Incentives:
- Incentives offered as bill credits for the first year. Starts at 100% of energy delivery charges and then adjusted each quarter over one year to standard rates as of year two.
(Net discount on total bill of approximately 40%/30%120%/10% by quarter; will vary by usage.)

Main Street Revitalization Program
We’re working with developers and community leaders to implement projects that improve local business communities. Business projects that invest capital and create jobs in underutilized business districts can receive reimbursement of up to $100,000 from PSEG Long Island.
Development corporations, property owners, developers and non-profit organizations can qualify.
Incentives:
- Funding consideration will be based on documented financial need, economic impact to the community, projected project investment and benefits including, but not limited to:
o Total project costs for new occupant
o Jobs retained or created
o Type of business and economic impact on community
o Optimization of existing electric infrastructure
- PSEG Long Island may consider in-kind incentives
- Maximum of 50% of total project funding up to $100,000 per approved project
